Joe Madden Man, I LOVE this. I like their second album, In Between, but this is very different and imo even better. On the noisy end of the shoegaze spectrum; there are moments when the guitars aren't playing notes so much as radiant, shimmering squalls of harmonically luscious noise. But there's always a solid pop groove underneath, and it's not overly dense; there's room for things to breathe. Reminds me a bit of Vivian Girls, but more mid-tempo and less dark in mood.

Patrick Cady Was turned off by some negative reviews but ended up really enjoying this album. "In Your Room" was my favorite track. Bummed it took me six years to give it a chance.
